We re-checked every tool in the library against its official site. Nine tools have shut down or been folded into another product since our last audit, and 19 changed their starting price. We also added 15 tools that became widely used this year.
Cursor acquired Continue in June 2026 and wound down the standalone product. The final release shipped June 19, 2026, and Continue's cloud data was deleted after July 15. The open-source code stays available, read-only.
Superhuman acquired Rows in February 2026, and rows.com wound down on May 31, 2026. The Rows team joined Superhuman.
OpenAI shut down DALL-E 2 and DALL-E 3 on May 12, 2026. Image generation in ChatGPT now runs on OpenAI's GPT Image models.
OpenAI closed the Sora app and website on April 26, 2026, and the Sora API followed on September 24, 2026. Sora is no longer part of ChatGPT Plus or Pro.
Phind shut down on January 16, 2026, with about two weeks' notice. Pro subscribers were refunded and could export chats until January 30.
Meta acquired PlayAI (Play.ht) in July 2025. The API was switched off that month, sign-ups stopped in August, and the platform shut down on December 31, 2025, deleting accounts and voices.
Meta acquired Limitless on December 5, 2025. Pendant sales stopped, and existing users were moved to a free plan with at least a year of support and data export.
Google acquired Galileo AI in May 2025 and relaunched it as Stitch, a free Google Labs tool for generating UI designs. The old Galileo site now opens Stitch.
Tome shut down its AI presentation app on April 30, 2025, and the company pivoted to sales software under the name Lightfield. User decks were deleted.
